Mt. Pumori expedition is generally considered to be technically challenging and climbers are required to be experienced and health conditions. And beautiful peak of Mt. Pumori ex requires climbers to be experienced as well as in faultless physical condition. Mt. Pumori expedition is situated at Upper Khumbu region at the border of Nepal and Tibet. This expedition requires excellent physical endurance. Mt. Lhotse and Mt. Everest and we will arrive Pumori. Mount Pumori offers sections of wild exposure, views of Mt. Lhotse and Mt. Everest, with technical difficulty worthy of any Himalayan alpinist. Mt. Pumori expedition Base camp will be set up at about 5300m.
Mt. Pumori expedition, People climb through the glaciers for approximately 4 hours and reach Camp 1st at 5700m. From Camp 1st, we climb 480m to the face with 40 to 60 degrees slope and pass through a snow wall to reach camp 2nd at 6200m to a narrow ridge. From camp 2nd, we climb approximately 450 meters through the ice with 30-60 degrees slopes passes through ice-walls and crevasses. This section is prone to avalanches from big seracs hanging on the shoulder above. We reach camp 3rd Camp at the altitude of 6,480m to the ridge. Passing through crevasses, we climb up to Pumori cliff and then to the summit. Mt. Pumori expedition is a one of serious expedition peak designed only for experienced climbers. The trip starts from Lukla after a flight from Kathmandu and reaches to Pumori base camp toward Dudh Koshi River.
